I think it would be cool if we did a best line video contest.

It has to be a video of a single line without any editing. It can be as long as you want as long as you don't fall ^^ One other rule could be that you can only do 2 or 3 times the same trick in the line or something...

It's fun to try to come up with sick lines in wakeskating, and you can have fun trying to pull all your tricks in a row even if you are not an uber rider...

This could also easily lead to something many talked about, an all wakeskating.com video. If enough of us send out videos of our best line unedited, it can then be all edited together... everybody will just have to mail the full quality version of their parts to one person for editing.

i think this has been brought up in the past. Everyone seems to want to do it but never goes threw. It would be nice if we got it to work.

well we can get started right now, just upload in your profile a video called *my line* or something and as people put them up we extend a poll that lists them all Very Happy

man nick was down this weekend, and he had the sickest line i'd ever seen, if we would filmed he woulda def. won, it was like bs 180 ova a bouy, then a bs biggy over a bouy, like shuv to indy reentry, flats kickflip, reetentry kick, some shuvs and i think a front biggy maybe some more, but it was the sickest line id ever seen.

Sweet idea, but I think it would be better at the end of the summer or something. Not eveyone is riding, so there won't be as many vids as there could be. Plus it gives people more time to throw a good line together. But why not start practicing that line now if you can....

You know it might be kinda fun to talk to dave about, making a place in the forum called "daily lines" or something... have it just where people can post all summer long like their best line of the day or one that was just fun and maybe some good wrecks.

I know dave already has the video section of the site, but maybe this would get peoples attention to posting more video everyday, good or just learning... everybody has fun looking at new video.

Why not just have a best lines thread where people will just post their lines and nothing else, no praise, nor criticism, and then after so many submissions, have a vote for best line, best trick, faceplant, whatever. It would get too difficult to follow the thread if this grows pretty big and there are a lot of submissions and have every other person saying "Hey sweet vid, or hey you need to pop your nollies more off of the double up" and what not.

-eh scratch that, just put up a section in the media center for best line submissions, that seems like it would work out, and people would be able to comment on the vids w/out overwhelming others just trying to keep updated on the latest stuff.

i think people should be able to use atleast fast forward to get through the parts where they are just riding. like i have an alright line on film, but the water was pretty rough so there are times between tricks where i'm not really doing much

Will rails be allowed in the lines? I like the idea, because it adds tons of variations of new tricks to do. A lot of people don't have rails though. So, allowed or not?

i think thats about what my clip would be and probably a fs 180 off of a ramp and a board slide on this flat rail i have.

nothing great, but what you got????????/
