One of my other projects(besides the winch). . . .finished

Ok so if you pay attention at all you know Im a DIY tinkerer maniac, so I had this rifle Ive been building for years, it may look like a normal short action Remington, but the stock is dope, my dad helped me make it years ago, its basicaly made like a wakekskate a foam core, but instead of glass its wrapped in tri-ax Kevlar composite (which is why it got the paint job lol) so its super stiff and super light, the down side is it kicks a little hard for a .308,bu tthe weight more than makes up for that drawback. Anyways I've been slowly building it and tuning it over the years and I finally got it done like 9 months ago, but the loc-tite I used to lock the scope in the rings was expired, so the scope slid back against the rings and was basically toast, so I finally got a new one, and since the weather was bitchin this weekend we finally went to the range and I got her sighted in. After which I layed in 28 out of 30 consecutive rounds on a 4x4 in. steel plate at 175 yds I was raising some eyebrows it was alot of fun, good stress relief Twisted Evil

did you build the actual gun and all the working parts or just like the casing

damit 175 yards is far away. hitting 28 out of 30 from that distance is very impressive

ScottyB, the stock was a pain
Frye, I built the stock, and bought the rest of the parts individually and did some custome stuff on the trigger

Greg T, actually the winch is 99.9 percent done, It would have been done saturday, but the guy forgot to send me the plug and pig tail to the CDI with the engine wirirng stuff, so I cant fininsh wirirng it til that shows up
