Impulse length?

I'm about to buy a LF impulse but i dont know what size i should get... i weight around 140 lbs... i want to do both w2w and lip tricks but does the length affect these two things muck or is it just what you prefer self... ive been thinking about a 39 oct 40, but is 39 to short?

Can't go wrong with a 41... I'm 145 and primarily ride a 41 Integrity, I also have a k39 and really feel like it sits too low in the water.
