| mine started to come off to but I rode it right after I put the grip tape which was like 30 min I just put some glue on it and now it is good. But it will definitely be a beach to get off. |

| after you apply the grip you need to put pressure on it, such as walking on it or rolling a truck with wheel on it, something to help set the glue. I usually just walk around on it for a few minutes, trying to get all of the grip down real good. |

I used a damn rolling pen on it for like 30 min straight and it still came off, I just called some1 at a skate shop and the said heat the tape with a hairdryer after you apply the grip tape, does that make sense??? |

| I've never had to do that. I gripped 2 wakeskates late last season and botht of them held up. Maybe its the weight of standing on it that helps.... |

Shuvit720, yea the skateshop by my house has a hairdryer for when they grip their decks. it melts the glue down onto the board. _________________ "it is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation." |

Shuvit720, originally, you should have taken a small roller, like the size of a skaeboard wheel and rolled it out especially at the edges, but now that its come up it will be a biatch to re-stick, I would reccomend buying a can of 3M super77 adhesive, and carefully applying that and resticking the grip, and the hair dryer thing may or may not work better idk, but I managed/worked a skate shop for 2 years, and we never once hairdryed grip on, and never had any problems with our grip jobs at least, (one kid installed somebodies trucks backwards, but that was pretty funny shizzle), so I doubt that is neccicary. . . just my .02 _________________ why dont you try playing hide and go Fvck yourself |

Shuvit720, yea heating the tape melts the glue and when it dries it sticks better. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

does the griptape on a wakeskate last as long as griptape on a skateboard? _________________ go big or go home |

small town skater,
Most likely it will last longer because your not hitting curbs, concrete, etc with it.
kento911,
At the skate shop that I worked at, we would use a heat gun to peel up the grip tape when we had to re-grip a board. You know liken when these douche bag kids want flameboy or wet willy grip. _________________ Vive La Jeffe! - JLA is snowboarding!
