They make it easier to ollie and you cant really claim shoveits if you cant do em with fins. If you take the fins off just to learn a shove it its cheating. |

Personal preference. Some people like fins, some people don't. It's a non-issue. _________________

No way its "cheating," a shuvits a shuvit w/ or w/out fins. If you look at any good wakesk8er they dont use fins. They are useless they dont do anything for you. |

The legitimacy of a shuv really just depends on how and where you throw it (((obviously after the board has left the water...))) and where you catch the board... Plain and simple it has noting to do with fins or not. _________________ arson-wake.com |

ok heres what i did, i think it helped me ALOT, i started with fins, i learned all the basics, shuvs, 180s, u know ez stuff then i started 360 shuvs started landing them, then took fins off and havnt used them since. I think u should get the basics down then take them off or just take one off. IT makes wakeskating alot more fun, at least for me, and all my friends who skate. but its personal preference. |

I noticed that in last months WBM Grubb was riding one fin, wierd since he was the first one I noticed riding no fins all the time. I think nearly all the pros ride one fin now.
and yeah its mostly personal preference. |

I remember the first time I saw someone riding without fins I thought it was so crazy because I tried doing it back in the day of skating with wakeboards and just kept falling. |

there is really no rhyme or reason to when I ride with or without fins, except in rough water or rails there is some reason to those two but the rest of the time it depends on what I did last and where the screwdriver is. _________________ why dont you try playing hide and go Fvck yourself |

You know it really pisses me off having to take apart my whole bi-level just to take off or put on a fin...so I just go without. I would like to be the millionth person on this topic to say, it is personal preference. |
