Collin Harrington did an ollie north wake to wake 2 years ago, proof lies in a photo from wakin' magazine, not to take credibility from this video at all or anything.

with them and without them. if you think about it its even harder when your feet are velcroed to the skate, how would you break it loose easy? he only rode like that a few times i think.

Props to Jerry for landing it. Wasn't the first, but definitely took it big and stylish. Editing wasn't necessary or the slo-mo for the cut out/cut in, but... who cares? It was worth it to see that nice ollie north Very Happy

I'm not sure if erich actually did an ollie north on a wakeskate...but he's been doing one footers with a binding on his back foot forever. There's an old thruster ad from 1994..fyi this is from wbm.

I'm assuming this video is of a kid doing one on a wakeskate? Blah blah blah, the whole dial up thing...

well a one footer is an ollie north, its been called a one footer for so long until tony hawk pro skater came out and they called one footers ollie norths.

I still wouldn't say that erich's is quite the same as jerry's. That's like saying a wake to wake jump with sky hooks is the same as a complely unbound wake to wake jump. Or at least that's how I see it. I still recognize that each has their own aspects that make each one tricky (like the fact that erich's board is longer and heavier, and that it's already pointing down towards the water), but I wouldn't discredit one because someone else did it with bindings. Or whatever.

HAHAHA... an ollie north is when you OLLIE, and in the process of sliding your foot up, do it more exagerated so your front foot whips off the board for just a sec. It's almost like a kickflip motion, only you're trying to flick your foot straight off the board and keep your back foot on the whole time.

And no comment on the video...
