Sweet Job Offer

I got an awesome job offer for the summer!!!My aunt and uncle have a cabin on the georgian bay in canada, the bad river, and the guy that builds cabins, runs supplies, and also is a fishin guide wanted my cousin to help him for a month building things and what not. So my cousin wants to do it but he doesnt want to go by himself and wants me to go with him. Whats sweet about it is theres like 8 boats availible to wakeskate and fish on in my free time. The ONLY drawback to skatin up there is the fish. Yes thats right the fish. If youve never seen a pike or muskie up close you probably dont know why im sorta scared. Last spring, I saw a muskie swimming that was 6.5 feet long if not bigger.He was next to the boat so I measured the side of the boat. So if you think sharks are bad these things are REALLY aggresive and if you see a 6.5 foot fish swimmin around you, you might be freakin to. Does anyone else skate where these beasts live and if so do they ever try and bite you when youre swimming? I doubt it cause theyd prob be scared of me but you never know. One might see my fingers and think they where some nightcrawlers Shocked

Anywho, you guys have any reassurance i wont get eaten alive?lol

alright dude i live on a fresh water lake thats fed by a river in wi. and there are Musks and pike and they are not aggresive or dangerous they dont bother peopel at all.

they are only aggresive when your catchign them, liek when there on a line
any way your trip sounds sweet and like a ton of fun

we have huge carp in the river that i skate on. But its too brown to see more than a couple inches in the river.

you know what is even freakier than big fish...skating on water that is over 1000 ft deep. -thats a long way to the bottom.

do you guys remember about 3 or 4 years ago...a pro wakeboarder knocked himself unconsious and wasnt wearing a lifejacket. So he sank right to the bottom...and drown. that was so sad. after i heard about that...i vowed to always wear a jacket. i dont know what made me think of that...but anyways...wear a jacket...all the cool ppl are doing it.

anyways...think about how creepy it would be to ride on water so deep...that if you dropped a rock into it...it would take over 20 minutes to get to the bottom. Crazy Eyes

We have huge carp in the rivers here... there are just like big floating/swimming turds... i tried to meat one with my skate to death, it didint do any good...

i never heard about that. where was he boarding, lake cumberland?its in kentucky, over a 1000 feet deep and fish that dont fit in long bed pickup beds. the catfish Crazy Eyes

It was a few years back... Cory was actually the person responsible for off axis spins, it happened on Lake Lavon i believe was the name in Texas...

i a monkey spin off axis. By the way, after readin this, il ALWAYS wear a life jacket, no matter where i go.
