|
|
When wakeskating becomes a creative outlet, or a way to break free from the cage that is your every day life, or if you feel free on a piece of wood for one shining moment, even if it ends in an hour or two, then you've found what wakeskating is. To some people, it's just a sport, but to others, it's more than you can imagine.
I often find that riding a session or two a day just completely changes my outlook on everything. If I take a ride before school at dawn, I feel alive for the rest of the day. I look forward to the next time I go out more than anything else. Anybody else feel this? |

I gotta hand it to ya Mo. You are dead right bro. It is such a good exercise for your whole body, this blows yoga, pilates, and tae-bo away.
I feel the same need for some physical exertion, in the form of an artistic board sport to be honest with you. Then you've already lived today, so this is espescially good if you get your session in the morning. You feel good all day, pumped, cocked diesel. The best time to go is the morning, would you care for salted or unsalted butter, spreadable or clarified, brown or drawn. How about margarine, oh well you know what I mean , the early bird gets the worm. It's a bird world out there.
Wakeskating is more than we imagined. _________________ dbanana wrote:

| who would have thought when the first people wakeskated they were creating something that would give so many people a feeling that cant be substituted, that really sets them apart from the people who dont know the feeling. |

Morphine, u hit the spot!
Just the other day I really had a VERY shiznackle day and was really pissed off during most of the day. But I ended up getting a pull during the afternoon and after that I was all stoked and peacefull...
It's crazy what riding on a little wooden board can do to you.
Hell, when I can't sleep at night I picture some sweet runs/lines and fall to sleep almost instantly lol
And I wakeboarded for some time before skating and it never did that to me... I was more soared by all the hard falls I took trying new ghay upside down tricks
And the more I see wakeboarders ride, the more I feel sorry for the fools. I'm really starting to be a 'you stupid strappers' kind of guy with the other riders here _________________

On a lighter note, I'm surprised noone has blasted people on here for talking about "wooden skates".
Wakeskating is my life, my anti depressent. It keeps me sane. Sometimes it pisses me off (like when I fall for no reason on something retarded! which has been happening alot lately!), but even then I'm not mad at wakeskating, I'm mad at myself for being retarded! |
