That isnt really that smart when you think about it...he would only be screwing himself...he would never be able to ever own a credit card, or rent a movie from a video store, or rent a car, or pretty much anything that requires a signature. If he did...he would be in breach of contract...and the person who bought the signature could sue him. Most likely for more than what they paid (on the grounds of accrued interest). So he would actually lose money.

Think about how many things an adult is required to sign for...there is know way you can make your signature exclusive...from a legal standpoint.

*and if this includes digital signatures...he would be in breach of contract just for allowing the buyer to pay with paypal.

Good luck bud.

What are they going to sew him into. Blanket? Pillow? Nice pair of pjs? Curtains? I'd be curious to see what could be turned out.

Greg T...well...for starters, the buyer would sue the seller for the negotiated buying price...ie. the 1 million dollars.

PIRATE, so close pirate, so close. maybe some day you'll get it.

What if he legaly changed his name after he sold the autograph. Then he doesnt have to worry about anything. He's a million richer.

Bestleft4dead, I was thinking the same thing, that he could change his name, but I don't think he could now. He probably has to sign something under his old name to get his new name.
