on the bottom of the board the screws obviously these have to cause some drag... would it not work a little better routered out and capped? or would the difference be so insignificant it's not worth it? possilby compromising the integrity of that section of the board? just curious and though somebody would know.

I tought the same thing when I got mine, but when ur just riding behind the boat it doesn't change a thing, you seriously don't feel any drag from the screws.
difference would be on rails, what I really liked was the sound it made lol, kinda like the one your trucks make when grinding ^^ But you will rip apart your rails with them screws :/
I wouldn't bother changing them tho, works fine that way

| itch.. that's kinda what i thought... seems like a flat head screw and a large washer could possibly compensate for some of the stress.. but i'm sure thomas would know if anyone did.. just noticed it when i was looking at that board.. and figured someone on here has as well.. and sure enough.. you talked to the man himself... thanks-

warlock, where did you get that picture from? I noticed there was one of those messenger bags. I want one but can't find them for sale anywhere yet.

all of you folks wont have this problem in a couple of months......... We 're working up here in michigan on a NEW WAKESKATE that will change all the DRAMA of the dreaded DELAM DEMON, and LACK OF TECHNOLOGY.
We're going to OWC for a week and testing and im sure that some PICS of the new boards will leak out. We have spent buckets of ducket$ on this board for the last 6 months. Were almost to production, but were going to beat on the prototypes some more so we dont just rush to production and have problems. Stay tuned to www.devotid.com

Wow... you guys are pretty kewl to come on here and try to hype your product by bashing one of the most respected companies in the industry.
Not the smartest thing imo.
You backed by Kent Sports?

dont the screws on top come up too, or are they flush with the top deck? if they come up, how does that affect the foot movement on the board?

gregg, Umm... why else would he post this on the topic of Cassettes Bi-Level?
NEW WAKESKATE that will change all the DRAMA of the dreaded DELAM DEMON??
Sounds like a call out to me... itch, what do you think?
It has been spoken by some that Hype could be working on a "Rider Owned Co." as a attempt to satisfy the core markets demand or attempt to... Basically a attempt to undermine people to think they are supporting a good cause. THIS IS JUST TALK AND RUMOR... SO TAKE IT AT THAT.
But... if you know enough about them then you would have to agree that it would be something they would do.
Food for thought...

Interesting sleu. IF it does prove to be true, it'd be pretty funny that all of our message board grumblings have actually been heard and are causing an (undesirable) result. IF it does prove to be true I think it shows that they view us as a g-d demographic and nothing more.
How in the hell can it even be rider owned if hype would be working on it...
Again, I could be getting worked up for nothing.

You and i both...
I honestly didn't think that many people lurked this board, but i have been proven very wrong!
And they are paying alot closer attention than any of us think, i know this just from the few hints i have dropped about my own company that have come back with phone calls to our manufacturer from the average joe schmoe, just wanting to ask questions about my brand... i thought that was a good one along with some of the other odd phone calls i have received myself.
idk... but its going to be interesting when all of this pans out.

I do think he took a jab maybe not bashing. I really don't know what to think. I looked in the yellowpages for devotard in Saginaw but came up empty. And I too have heard the rumblings but I figured they would loose more than they would gain. But I wouldn't put it past them they have done worse. Being from Michigan and a new company if they were going to test don't you they would not leaks of the New Technology and would do their testing some where other than the HYPE supported OWC?
Makes you think.
Hey if they are legit I am all for more compition, I mean more people pushing product development has to be good for the sport. I wish them well.

itch, if your hinting that devotid might be backed by hype or whatever sleu was talking about, dont you think theyd have a better website? that thing is horrendous. way to go with the terribly pixelated graphics, and making me spell things wrong.

itch, I agree... not to even say that these guys are in any way the evil you know who... but it makes you think.
And im all for friendly competition in the market, more competition means more growth... and im all for opening the door to new generations of wakeskaters as long as its done by the right companies in the right way, and not some shithead trying to make a quick dollar.
seven11dmd, Think about it and ask yourself that question a few times... if you really cant answer that yourself then i will give you a answer.
