handstands

anyone doing these? im gonna try some this weekend i just decided.
what should i do with the handle tho? im thinking put it in my right little elbow joint thing.

Frye, i was thinking about trying it too but i cant do a hand stand on the ground so i didnt think it would work to good for me. but i would try to not put the rope around you at all if possiable. i know while wakeboarding a few times i have gotten my arm through the handle on a fall and that hurts like hell. when i was thinking of doing them i was just going to hold on to the handle at the front of the board with my front hand. also please video tape this i totaly want to see it. Laughing

Not to be a pessimist, but I would be f@cking amazed if anybody could pull a handstand on a moving wakeskate. They are hard enough on the ground, haha.

haha if i i land it this weekend or get anywhere near it i will take the camera next weekend kuz the camera is a big hassle to take for no reason. mabye i will just take a digital camera and take a quick vid. i can hold them on the ground. and on a skateboard while movie. the only tricky thing here i think is going to the the handle...

You guys have never seen some one try a hand stand on a wakeskate before? We try them all the time... we dont come that close but im sure if we tried them heaps we would come close. But what you do with the handle is just hold it in your hand and put it between your hand and board not as hard as you think.

I'm pumped. I was out in my front yard going from standing on the board and figureing out how to get from my feet to my hands. I think I know how!

You bend over and have your front foot on, and your bakc knee on. the you put your front hand one(still holding the rope, and your foot still on. then you put you back hand on(knee still on aswell) then once your ready you have you push off your front foot and back knee, and do the hand stand. Only way I could do it without falling...

Do hand stands against the wall to gain strength, then practice donkey kicks back (like a half back flip sort of thing). They work good and it worked for me on a skateboard of course, im not going 22mph on a skateboard soooo....

lol, Paul, i was thinkin about a handstand about 2 months ago, but then i though....everyone would call me gay or make fun of me cuz chase got made fun of for a trick like that, so i didnt try it. but if all you people think id be kool, then maybe that should be the next new trick in the pro tour. that'd be funny lookin. get vid of it and send it to cassette and see wat they think of it.
