Yes, if you want to catch air.
You don't need one, Greg T is right, but I would put it on your wigh list. After a tower you get racks, speakers, lights= 1 bad ass boat. It just makes the whole experience mo betta. _________________ dbanana wrote:

Raven, very true. never really thought of the whole w2w part.
but overall, you can still do ALOT of stuff with out a tower. most anything. |

well i think it all depends on wat kind of boat u have. with a tower ull b able to do w2w stuff but only if u have a wake that allows u to go w2w, some boats have really bad wakes. and w/o one u can still get really tech with ur tricks. wat kind of boat do u have? or maybe a better question, how big/smooth is the wake? _________________ www.asylumwakeskatesnow.com |

| its not a big deal but it helps. i went out with this kid nick who had a pylon on his center concel and he said it makes a light and day differance. i know that it helps for w2w and also when ur turning around qand picking up the fallen rider the rope is less likely to get under the boat. i would say if u can get a tower cheap or have the money to do one it would be worth it but dont stress if u cant |

it does affect your riding since the pull is really different, even on flat tricks.
When you ride a boat with a wake tower a lot and then ride a ski with no pylon u can really feel the difference in the way you are pulled. It takes time to adjust to it.
I'd say the ideal height would be a small pylon so that the pull from the rope is about waist high or a little higher ^^
I'm gonna start working on putting a small tower on my ski. Instead on puting a pylon at the back, I'll try putting a small roll bar at the back, about waist high ^^ If it's a rollbar type thing I could maybe even put some speakers on it lol _________________

Yeah it can helps U. If U try some 2wakes tricks U can feel the difference. In flats too U just have to put a little pylons like skiers had. _________________
