Original wakeskates still making handmade solid boards. Not outsourced. Just sayin. Hand made here in Northern California. _________________ Well,It ain't gonna suck itself....
You can pour syrup on shizzle, ain't gonna make it pancakes!
Well I locked and loaded. I'm supporting a company with a solid deck that fits my style, performs, and is made here in the USA. I'm no pro but having a board that's fun to ride and is forgiving is important to me. I'll post an update later on what I decided once I get more time on the the finished product. Thanks to everyone that provided feedback and to those vendors that actually responded...
Well I can say I still make very solid Wakeskates. I don't like to push my boards on anyone but there's a few people on here that can testify to my construction and shape. I make a very reasonable priced hand shaped made in Texas Wakeskate. Sometimes I take my time on them if there's no rush but if you let me know you need it done, shizzle gets done. Just thought I'd let y'all know there will be no apocalypse anytime soon. You can DM me if you have any questions at all.

JB_CANSKATE I talked to Andrew a few weeks back when he was out in California and they should have new skates on the site in the next month or so. From the sounds of it the new skates will be a little different than the past but still solid and similar to what they have made before.
Price sounds like it will be similar to last year but I'm constantly checking their Instagram and website for updated info. _________________ Scuba Steve's Wakeskate Film Libray
So I decided to go with a local company here in Texas. I demoed the Resyn before pulling the trigger, and I was very impressed with Kyle's work. The board is very solid and as far as I'm concerned a work of art.
In terms of riding it's a little heavier than what I'm used to so I need a little more speed. However, the board pops much better for my style. I've always had problems with popping so this is awesome for me. I love the rails. I can edge with ease yet the board is very forgiving. This is something that I had a problem with other boards. Always needed to tradeoff before...
It's obvious that Kyle takes a lot of pride and care in hand making these skates. Additionally, he is super responsive during the buy/build process. And I have no doubt that if I have issues he will work with me. I'm really glad he reached out to me before I made a decision to buy an alternative.
This is not a sales pitch but you should definitely consider Resyn if you're shopping for a new board. I'm glad I did...
