Cable Park design

So this idea came to me from Esnow's comment in the other thread about OWC having some boring features in comparison to the CWC/Philipenes features when it came to wakeskating.

If you could design a cable park setup for wakeskating, what would you want added and what would you want taken away?

Keep in mind it would need to be friendly to all levels of wakeskaters so some beginner stuff for someone hitting a rail for the first time but you would want to challenge more advanced riders as well.

It can be a full cable or 2.0, just specify in the comment.

I've always been a fan of floating barrels, its a simple obstacle that doesnt cost much, can be put anywhere, helps beginners learn to ollie and get confident ollieing onto a rail while allowing more advanced riders the opportunity to show the pop they have with tricks.

Ride up funbox - this is usually the first rail/box any beginner tries for the first time. Give it a mellow incline to get up and wide enough for easy balance for that first timer. Have the flat part a little on the taller/ longer side for people to start ollieing onto it from the side as they progress and it also is a great way to learn lock in tricks.

I'd love to have a round pipe at my local park, something simliar to the incline pipe nick has/had in his private rail pond.

Steven M, spot on with the barrel. there is something about doing tricks over things. I love it.

My park would be a 2.0 and have the exact things you mentioned, but it would also have to include a drop with some boxes on the side like from a few years ago at retention.

dont have time to share more, but wanted to express how fun floating barrels are! we used to put them in our canal and pull with a truck to ride and session one barrel all day. then we have used them winching plenty.
several years later (ok like 8 or 9) i was riding a 2.0 and some wind was blowing enough to move a barrel from the edge of the lake, right in front of my path. i sessioned it several laps until it was too far away from the cable to do anymore. i can easily say, those were my favorite spins ive had on a cable yet and ive been able to hit plenty of unit rails plus other stuff

We used to have a towable donut tied up in the middle of our park and it was Damn fun to Ollie. I'd like to have a mellow incline rail and a fun up to flat rail.
