I've been thinking about moving somewhere in Florida sometime, but I don't really know a lot about different areas.
I'm thinking where ever I'd live, I want to be within 30 mins driving distance of a cable park and like 30 mins from the ocean. That would be cool if there were some lakes nearby. Is that even possible? _________________ http://www.stickandflick.com

I know a couple of rad dudes who used to live in Daytona Beach. They had Ponce and Smyrna to surf right next to them, the intercoastal to skate on, and its only a quick hop on I4 to drive into Orlando and go to the cable park or the projects. Plus, you get all the sexy spring break ladies and biker bars! |

AlexB, that's the most forgiving description of Daytona Beach I've ever seen. |

Melbourne is pretty nice if you can get on the Indialantic side. Good waves and not as touristy as Cocoa Beach.
Daytona is pretty much where happiness and dreams go to die. It's Florida's assh0le.

Ok, I guess I'll bite. Daytona does suck!!! However, if you are laid back, and want to wakeskate, surf, and skate NSB is f'ing awesome. The work situation is tough around here, but I don't know what your financial situation is though, so we will leave that out. We have some of the best, surf, wakeskate, fishing, camping, bars, women, weather, etc, that you could ever ask for, but this place isn't for everyone. If you have any more questions about moving down here (rent, etc) pm me.. I don't want to blast out my hometown on the internet anymore than it already has been! We are trying to get people out of here, but it's mostly because our town is attracting the wrong type of person. Chilled out shredders are always welcome with open arms, and boats! |
