I think most people on here prefer a single level deck. Don't think you can go wrong with either. Try them both if you can.

for boat get the aspect

- i had to look up to ind out its the sst

but I would like a larger/heavier board for boat

but as any of their team riders can show you on film they will work anywhere there is water

TAO, SST is too clunkly, heavy and cumbersome. That's my opinion. Andrew Fortenberrys new board also looks good, best option is to try them both out and see which one suits your style best. Happy shredding bru

I love the tao. I don't really do wake to wake stuff, but for everything else, the tao is money and i think the weight is right on. I have never ridden an aspect, so i can't speak to that board.

RWMedia what board do you currently ride? Having ridden both the aspect(SST) and the Tao, I can say I preferred the aspect slightly, but probably for it's weight. I loved the Tao shape and feel but felt it was slightly to light. In fact I usually prefer a single level deck, so the comparison for these two boards is weird for me to like the bi-level. Both are great decks. But I would recommend a Remote over both. Also that Signature thread makes those look like a Spicy Treat!

if you like the Signal I would suggest the Tao. the Tao will just be a step up in construction, feel, and will have a similair weight. A little heavier, but if you are used to the Signal I'm sure you will love the Tao. When I rode a Tao I also took a few laps on a MOD right after(MOD=Signal with griptape) and I definitely liked the Tao better. that is my opinion.

I knew LF boards were generally big, but that's just insane! Laughing
