Can I just put new grip on top of the adhesive that is left over from the old grip tape? Or do I need to get the old adhesive off first? Thanks, Sorry if this was already posted

It's better to get all the old adhesive off, but I usually don't bother because its such a pain. If its a liquid force board you might want to because for some reason their adhesive is thicker and ive had my re grip jobs come close to falling off.

try and get as much as you can off, then regrip. I usually leave mine out for a little while in the sun, and let the adhesives bond together.

I've never even bothered cleaning the old adhesive. Never had an issue either.
I use perforated MOB with a hairdryer when applying. then take a tennis ball (or any ball) and rub the edges over really excessively with heat working out all the air, pressing every inch of the concave down. Then cut the edges.
