| Damn Reed Hansens better than I thought, not only can he kill it on a wakeskate but now can time travel...It's amazing Ben Horan could be the first to kickflip backlip and Reed be in a video doing the same trick years ago!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzRjicWgHi0&feature=plcp he does it at 2:14 |

I can't watch the vid, but i think I remember the trick. Didn't he do that move onto a pretty wide box type ledge? I'm pretty sure reed kickflip boardslid onto a wide ledge at wake stock some years back also...like 06 or something. I'd need to see that footage because maybe it was a 50-50.
But the contingency ledges are skinny and more challenging. Maybe it's not right to call them new per se, but it's new to see them on something like this...just a bit more legit.
But Reed's the man, and all of this reminds me that he's been pushing it hard ever since he got onto his cassette bi level. Now he's on that ronix and is crazier than ever. Go reed! _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

The kickflip backlip Reed did was pretty damn legit IMO.....his attempts at it before he lands one are even dope. No discredit to Ben...I haven't seen that footage and I bet its crazy good.
Kickflip bluntslide would be a sick tech trick to pull. |

I'm not saying it wasn't legit, but there's also something to be said for doing it on a skinny rail vs something wider.
But if I'm remembering this incorrectly, disregard my commentary! _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

I wasn't there, that was what I saw on instagram. Someone actually filmed the wakeboarding best trick reel, but nobody did that for wakeskating. Dammit! _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
