So I'm building a cheap wakeskate to use this weekend. I'm using 23/32 inch pine plywood (I didn't want to layer thin plywood because this is only temporary until I get a real one). I soaked it in my tub last night. This afternoon I tried bending it but could only bend it about half an inch. Is there anything I can do to make it bend more/easier?

I will look on here later, but you might want to do a search on here for building a wakeskate. I know there are threads on here, and I think people built their own presses to create their rocker lines.

Here's one article (super old): I'm not saying this method is absolute, but it might give you some ideas. I highly recommed a more detailed search on here for info:

Well i've made a deck out of ply wood just to mess around before and we put insane amounts of rocker in it and it had flexed back to flat by the time we where done riding. But if its just temporary what I did was put something heavy in the middle, I used my boat trailer tire (and trailer) and the put something like 2 by 4s under each tail. It worked all right i guess

Yeah, that's a good idea, do you think I could do it with a car because I don't have my trailer at my house right now. It will definitely be temporary because the only day I need it for is Monday.
