how many people on this website skated first then crossed over, and how many wakeboarded then tried wakeskating and just stuck with it. I know i always skated since around 2nd or 3rd grade, then crossed over about a year ago

you should start skating, there's nothing like throwin yourself down a handrail, and it feels good to land something after eatin sh@! a bunch of times. Its also good to just work on your tricks when you cant get a ride

I went to wakeskating from wakeboarding, but I've been skateboarding a lot for the past 5 years. I'm not that good of a wakeboarder though, but the skateboarding should be helpful when I'm getting into kickflips. Doing rails also seems like a breeze so far, but I haven't really tried a big one.

Skateboarding for 7 years then started wakeskating. I still skateboard much more than I wakeskate and I believe its the better of the 2 sports.

i crossed over from aggresie razor scootering.

but uhh.. i skateboarded, then that came secondary to wakeboarding, then wakeskating took over. i still skate to help with wakeskating. and go back to straps once in a blue moon.

i always thought it would be sick to take soaps and wakeskate with them. take a pool gap with a handrail and slide down it on the soaps and land on your wakeskate sitting in the water. its a little bit unrealistic but..
