Me and my Dad made my first "wakeskate" out of my first skateboard, which was an old walmart board. we used two sheets of sandpaper as grip tape and decided we needed to sharpie on where my feet should go so i would know where to put them. As we were doing this i knew it was the start of something big in my life and i know he felt it too. I skiied on that thing for a whole summer before i finally got a real one. After my graduation pictures were done, these two photos happened to be sitting next to each other in a pile on the table and i could hardly believe it. Its almost 10 years exactly between photos and it just goes to show how full circle everything has become. I clearly can remember him writing on the first board, " Jakes wakeskate.. #1 of ?"

That"s awesome! I like that the first pic has the date on it too. I had no idea you"ve been wakeskating that long, but it shows!

Wow, ten years is a long time.
I like how you literally cling to your board in the first picture because this wakeskate is something very unique!
