The same thing with my 5yr old nephew during memorial weekend. He had a blast. He keeps asking me when we are going out again so he can try and grt up alone on his own board.
miller how comfortable is he in a swimming pool? Is he ok going under for a few seconds? If so, do it.
It's super easy to get up deep water with them between your legs and ride around. When he was ready to fall I just let go of the rope and we sank. He was all smiles and full of stoak after that. _________________ Scuba Steve's Wakeskate Film Libray |

I rode years ago with my nephew in my arms but never between my legs. He was probably only 2 at the time, I gotta try this.
I've also rode with my wife riding piggyback... that was an experience. Getting up was the hardest part; from there it was pretty smooth. _________________ thrashdad.com |

It works pretty well with them riding between your legs. you can hold on to them with your knees and they get to feel the board under their feet and hold on to the handle. The only thing is getting them to let go of the rope when you stop. I've ridden with both of my kids like this and they like it. it takes some of the fear away when they are on the board with you. |
