I wanted to send out a plea to the wakeskate community and in particular anyone in the greater Portland, Maine/Southern Maine/ New Hampshire/Massachusetts area to be on the lookout for anyone trying to fence my brand new Remote Nick Taylor Ltd Wakeskate 38.5. It was stolen off our boat in broad daylight while staying at Sebago Lake State Park in Naples,  Maine (45 minutes North West of Portland, Maine) on Friday August 3, 2012.

It was stolen from either the Witches Cove side of Sebago Lake State Park campground or the Point Sebago Resort gas dock.

As you probably know these were very very limited and are completely impossible to come by now. I have a hard time believing that anyone who is serious about wakeskating would be so brazen as to steal this in broad day light off our boat. I am hoping that someone may know something or if anyone out there sees or hears of one being sold that you might let me know by sending me a private message or posting to the thread here. I am willing to offer a reward for info leading to its return.

I just wanted to take a second and chime in-

Tara and Travis are some of my best customers and friends that I have ever had. They are both some of the most genuine, loving, and enthusiastic people you can meet in this industry. I trust them like a family member and I even gave him my ltd 40 Office edition to take on his trip across the US.

I really hope that we can track down this board for you guys. Thanks in advance to the ws community for helping these two out.

Go beat on that 40 like no other tomorrow.

Love you guys

I would say keep an eye on craigslist if you can. Were there any other identifying marks?

I'm a camp counselor in Sebago, Maine. I'll keep my eyes open, if it's on Crescent Lake or anywhere around town I'll see it for sure! I didn't think any other wakeskaters lived up here, I go to Portland all the time, haha.

Thanks everyone for the support and for keeping an eye out, especially those local to the area. We travel to Sebago every summer and love that place! I'll definitely keep an eye on eBay and Craigslist. Re: the board - it is the limited guitar graphic and honestly looks brand new with no stickers or distinguishing marks. I was running it without fins, so there are no holes in the grip tape. Thanks again everyone! I'm feeling hopeful Smile

i freakin hate thieves....

nick was that you who had ur deck stolen from the back of your pick up?

that was awful....

worst thing i can remember in the history of wakeskate theft was when some1 stole all those decks and burned them in the fire... at whatever event that was.... absurd.

I really hope you track down your deck. Keep a close eye on ebay and craigslist. Make a police report so that if you do see it on either site your local law enforcement can contact them and hopefully retrieve your deck.

I really hope a fellow wakeskater did not commit this crime.

good luck to you, posting here was a good idea as we all have a sharp eye for this kind of thing, unfortunately I'm not near there but here's a story for hope, if you've ever heard of Trevor "Poodle" Marquette the strapper, his dad's wakeboard was stolen out of his pickup, a few years went by then like magic the board popped up on CL, his dad set up the meeting, confirmed the board was his, told the seller so, the guys eyes got huge and he said"a friend gave it to me, take it bro", end of story- he got it back
