Looking around at new handles. Any suggestions? I'm currently using a murray chamois that ive ragged out, but I think for a new handle I'm looking to try something thicker because I keep getting tendonitis in between my bicep and forearm every time I ride. _________________ Hang Loose Bro!

I've never put that much thought into a handle! I just don't want something that falls apart. and i guess the one thing I don't want is a hard grip surface. The first real handle I bought was a straightline with that braided section on the rope for wrapped tricks (this was THE handle to have as a wakeboarder in the mid 90s, and believe me when I say that I thought I was the shizzle). Anyway, the grip wasn't great...it always took awhile to get used to and I always ended up with tore up hands at some point. After that I went to some sort of camo accurate thing, and now I ride with a remote handle. I think the grip on that is good, but I think the durability was a bit iffy because some of texture on that handle tore off faster than I'd expect. but I like riding with a wakeskate branded handle and I'm still using it, so over all I can't really complain.
I think ben is going to be producing handles under his aquarium brand. I'm curious to see what they come up with. So that might be something to check out if you're not in a hurry. I'm not too sure what their timeline is like. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

splitphire, go to Rukus in Mandeville. They've got a lot. Feel them all out and buy which one you like best. _________________ i am the bear jew |
