Ever WS in hawaii?

havent posted in awhile due to being gone... but i have a serious question. Have any of you ever wakeskated or know anything about it in hawaii in new to the island oahu, but ill be here for 3 years. I would very much like to keep doing what i love to do.

yes, it's an 04 reed.

the one place in hawaii that is kind of famous for wakeboarding (in my mind, anyway) is kuaii (sp). A few videos have been filmed there...

But bachlonso is right. There was some guy on here from hawaii and he might be able to tell you more. I can't remember his name either but I'm kind of trying to search for it on here. I remember he was selling a cassette LP deck in the classifieds, and dbanana bought it from him.

im with bachlonso, i would love to live in Hawaii. you're lucky man. hope you get in touch with someone so you can shred there. if all else fails, when you get down there just carry you're skate under you're arm everywhere you go, that'll be sure to grab a fellow wakeskaters attention

Umm dude, you are on the single greatest island in the world to surf. GO SURF!!! I couldn't even imagine my home break being anywhere on the north shore, south shore, not west coast because you will be beat up, and the east is the windward side. But seriously, as much as it sucks, put the wakeskate in the attic for a little bit and go experience the greatest sport in the world, surfing.

Ok now that I have made my statement, go over to the forums on www.wakeworld.com and ask about riding in oahu. I know there is a group of probably 10 guys on that site that live and ride there. Just goto the main forum and ask and you will get a bunch of responses or do a search. it's a pretty good scene over there I believe.

hurley2589, also a good bet would be to goto Darin's camps website Ridethespot and call him up or send him an email and ask him. He resides in Kauai but im sure he has connections on Oahu

I'm in Honolulu for the next month hanging out with some friends. Didn't know if anyone did any winching or anything around here while it's blown out? I'd love to go to the north shore durring the week but i'm without a car while everyones at work and only have a bike to get around.
