Does anyone use a flat bottom boat for riding?
Trying to find a good hull for a nice setup but those 15 foot v to flat all welded aluminum boats are a little hard to come by here for some reason or are way over priced.
Thanks

I had a skiff that got stolen about a year ago, was super fun to ride behind.
I still ride behind a friends 16 ft skiff occasionally

thats what i have its a 1985 16ft grumen modified flat v, works great its rivoted and leaks like a sive.i priced alumacrafts out and brand new part rivot part weld was 1600 for a 16ft, craigslist works well or boat trader or try ebay. welded is def way more legit but you can get away with a rivoted one

Flat is fine. I ride behind a 1442 Weldcraft with a 25 Yamaha and it pulls perfectly.

How can I hook a rope to this boat? I have not been able to see if the tower has sufficient bracing yet. I was hoping it had a port and starboard u-bolt.

depending on how good the welds are on the rod holders on the platform you could use those, ive ridden behind many a center consoles with teatops and we just hook the rope to one of the rod holders on that, just like a tower
