Just got the SST in the mail, took it apart- pulled the fins out, and went for a ride.

Felt really strange at first! I could not ollie very well.. kept feeling sluggish. Then all of a sudden I figured it out, you have to kick the front foot a little harder like a skateboard to get that tail out of the water.

It also seemed like I couldn't do small shuvs on the surface, I had to pop them up to get them around (no complaints).

Does anyone have any tips on riding these bi-level boards? I'm sure it will feel fine once I figure it out but any suggestions are welcome!

Totally true man, I have a bilevel and a normal board. I have to shuv the bilevel twice as hard to get the same rotation as the normal board.
