The Blood Brothers are awesome, they were here in Eugene a few weeks ago and had a killer show with Antlers and DOD..

over a year later......
saw them twice this weekend. never really listened to them much before, but they were opening for alkaline trio, so I was forced to watch them to keep my spot on the barricade.
anyways, they really impressed me. at first I was like, meh, more politcal punk, blah blah blah its all the same, but by the second night I caught on to some of their choruses and payed more attention and they just put on an overall good show. Very raw and energic. I don't know why I would like them any more then any of the other similar bands, but they just seem to do it better. Now that I've had a few days to listen to their songs, I am starting to like them quite a bit.
I know Im way behind on this band and most are already calling them sell outs or old news or whatever, but I still give them a couple of thumbs up. Check them out if you think they could be your thing. |
