I'm thinking about building my first rail this weekend, just a simple ollie on flat bar. any suggestions how wide i should make it? i was thinking 16ft long, and 6 inches wide. any other tips/suggestions? _________________ If you're not living for something you dying for nothing. |

16ft is an ok length and as for the width I like using 2 pieces of trex which is wider than 6" |

i would just get one piece of trex. they come in wider sizes at like home depot or lowes |

they have trex at lowes that is a ft wide and 12ft long. buy 2 sheets of that. a ft wide and 24ft long |

Yeah the stuff at Lowes is Trex brand and comes up to a 1ft wide but it is real thin and you would have to brace it a lot more. I am not sure what brand home depot has but it is thicker but not as wide. |

well my only choice is home depot, since anything else would mean hauling the wood from home to the lake in my ford focus, a 2 hr drive . i'm thinking 6-8" might be the winning number (i know thats what she said) _________________ If you're not living for something you dying for nothing. |
