Never heard of them. Some things look cool on this winch but they need to settle the hell down.

The picture on the van takes the cake though... The best part is if you look closely the dude on the picture is riding at a cable not even behind a winch!

It's amazing how you can buy a street legal mini chopper (gay), but still, it has a custom paint job, lights and a speedo. All for around $1,000. Yet people want $1,200 + for a basic winch. Confused

It looks like a cable handle in the picture and the YouTube logo is fake as hell.

I like the idea of the side hitch though, it'd be cool to have that be removable and have a permanent regular hitch out the back.

why do winch companies rip you off so bad?

just make something that works and sell it for 500 and people will buy it

it doesnt cost that much to build it and its not like its a new idea

well they include 200' of the best line ever so maybe thats why. j/k. if i were to start a company i would not sell my winch with an engine. it would come with everything including rope and tav, but the engine just adds so much to shipping weight. i think the most expensive part is hand welding and bending all the frames, but that's not needed. square tubing works fine and u can make low pro frames with it too. integrity could make a winch frame out of their board material and it would be the sickness.

mojo, me and my bro were sorta thinking the same thing

some company should sell different kits of winch parts, one kit might be a everything not including the engine and the frame, or one kit might be everything not including the spool or the motor.

and they should sell kits with everything included too

that would be really sweet because people who don't know that much about winching could get all the parts they need and know that everything will work/fit together.

my thoughts exactly. the way i see it, with a reliable engine such as honda or briggs, the right gearing whether tav or cc, the rest does not have to be the best of the best just as long as it doesn't break. since frame, engine, and alot of the time spools are the priciest parts those should be long lasting.
