That would be really expensive considering you can go ride cable all day for about that much. Also if you just built your own you could use it all day for a couple bucks. Jeepers. _________________ The promise of heaven out of reach.

All I'm saying is it's not very likely for someone to rent something that can be built for a few hundred bucks. ESPECIALLY for 40 bucks an hour. I just don't think there is a high enough demand for that type of thing. And chances are anyone that winches either has one or has access to one... _________________ The promise of heaven out of reach.

you'd be amazed how many people from across the country and the planet (no joke) constantly ask me for a discounted or even free winch, not many people know how to weld or fabricate or even know anyone to do it for them, many people who call me tell me they are asking their friends to go in on a winch together and it never happens because you know how hard it is to get 2 of your friends to commit to anything financial, it's alot easier to come up with rental money than it is to come up with purchase money, at this moment there's not one single cable park west of TX, we all know why winching is bad ass and many winchers prefer machine to cable, so i'm conducting market research to see if i should launch a rental line and that being said it will likely start local in phoenix, then as shops around the country recognize the potential they might purchase winches to rent _________________ ☆PHOENIX WINCH☆

Ya just think about if you're traveling and there isn't a cable park around. It would be much easier to rent one then try and take it on a plane lol _________________ You had me at meat tornado. -Ron Swanson |

I am in no way trying to compare winching to cable. I was just saying that 40 bucks an hour is very pricey and you could go do cable all day instead (and I don't even like cable.) I've looked at the winches you build and they look very well done, and your prices are veeeeeerrry fair too! However I just don't think it makes sense to rent a winch... _________________ The promise of heaven out of reach.

don't forget about inexperienced winch drivers...
you would have to have some sort of deposit for damages, not to mention who says they're returning your winch? I'd guess you'd have to scan their drivers licence, b/c they're obviously going to need to drive to any winching areas. But then your also dealing with fake id's, unless you know the individual but that wouldn't always be the case.
its a tricky situation, but it would be interesting if you can make it happen. _________________ ~ www.integrity-wake.com ~ www.iwinchglobal.com ~ |

i appreciate the thoughts, my rental winch line would be overbuilt, much like the stupid steam cleaners you can rent from your grocery store, there would absolutely be a deposit in cash or credit, and of course liability waivers, not to mention i know heavy pipe swingers and theres not that many places in phoenix a winch could hide from me, i know just about everyone who winches or owns a winch in this city and damn near the state, anyway thats not the focus, the focus is providing winching to those who can not afford to buy a winch and really want to try it out _________________ ☆PHOENIX WINCH☆

I don't consider a Sesitec system a full blown park as it is transportable
