Favorites include: byerly grenade( just wanted tsllerkick tail , legacy( less concave and more rounded waist, simplex is fav. But non pre kicks for me. Thinking remote, new sig, or heritage/revival. Don't really want a board I have to look after or replace after a year with no rails. Byerly is as far umbrella as I go.

Collective FTW!!!!

But no seriously, The best way to descibe these boards is would be: A wood concave and that has oak style bottom deck rocker, top concave similar to a remote just a bit different, I wanna say just a tad bit more abrupt. They way a bit less than the remotes too btw (remote boards seem a bit heavy in my opinion) PBT base bottom that holds up well for rails and such. I rode one last week, soooo sick.

at only $235 they are hella dope, check collectiveboardco.com Smash

Collective. I rode one Friday and my current board went up for sale Friday night. It was such a comfortable board that I'm getting one asap

edit: it was the Colton board not the team.

daniel,

Im glad your diggin it. Cool

To clarify a little

The Team deck is 16 ply "classic construction" wood concave so the concave is more mellow and the board is a little lighter than the Colton edition. The Team is designed to be more of our price point board but its still a great board, Im actually riding that board right now.

The Colton Edition is a 19 ply "pressed concave construction" board so it is heavier and features a deeper more continuous style concave. Both boards have a pbt base as well.

so those are the main differences as well as the size differences which you can see on the site.

Woody Farmer, could you post a top photo of the concave on both the team and Colton's model?

daniel,
No problem bud Im happy to help in any way! Were also going to have some new sizes and shapes coming out with in the next month or so, so be on the look out for them.

samcollett,
Im not super familiar with how to use this forum haha.... but if you go to http://collectivewakeskates.com/online_shop.html you can view some photos. You will have to scroll through the photos to see the top concaves. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Right on. Yeah I checked it out, I was just curious to see a different angle photo to see the differences in the concave of Colton's board and the team model. The boards look sick!

samcollett,
Thanks alot I appreciate it,
I see what your saying Ill try to get some more pics on here later. The Team deck is actually a little mellower than we would really like, so the newer ones will likely be a little thicker with a steeper concave but its still a great board and I think the price is where it needs to be.
