We apologize but something's gone wrong — an old link, a bad link, or some little glitch.

Thankfully everyone is still safe.

watches are worthless in my opinion, if you have a cell phone, which mostly everyone does, there is no need for a watch. although this is coming from a guy who hates any kinda of jewelry or accessory.... when i get married the wife is gunna have a tough time when i dont want to ever wear my wedding band... It goes beyond it being a watch, though. The really awesome part is that this could someday be a remote for your tv, or for your android/zune/ipod/iphone/apple tv, etc. So instead of grabbing your phone out of your pocket to see who is calling or what someone texted you, you could just check your watch. Sony Ericsson already has a device like this...I think it's a really cool idea. And YES I'm lazy enough to be interested in a 'watch' that can control my tv Laughing

definitely cool, but also dumb at the same time. it would not be conducive to working out and listening to music. since they are relatively cheap if you already have the apple device i'd say it might catch on. i love watches, but today they really are just a status symbol. i say no point in wearing one that's not super nice b/c to tell time you can look at your tv, microwave, oven, cell phone, automobile clock, computer, etc. i will be purchasing a heart rate/calorie monitoring watch, but it serves a purpose and is cheap.

watches that control tv's came out over 10 years ago. my ipod already controls my apple tv, laptop, and other devices. this thing is basically an armband u wear on your wrist.

scott a, that is not lazy.... that right their is a problem solver to something that scares the hell out of everyone on a daily basis.

Problem: you cant find the remote/s to your television entertainment system. you glance around looking at the obvious areas; the couch, the table, ground... nothing. now you gotta get your search party going and spend 5 minutes look for the dam thing/s.

Füçk that mess, I'll take the t.v. remote on the wrist that does more than go go gadget and a swiss army knife combined.

Exactly. It's similar to a tablet because not everyone will have a need for one, but for some people it'll be real nice to be able to access info from their phone or tv from a small thing on their wrist. It might sound like I'm getting excited over nothing, but with the growing amount of computing tech that's becoming available in different form factors, soon we'll be able to pick and choose what we buy based on how we use our electronics instead of buying a desktop and a laptop and a cellphone because that's what's available. But we'll see how things shake out...

I need a watch for EMT and was wondering if anyone had a suggestion as to one that has a second hand and is good for diving.

I was thinking about the Freestyle Hammerhead XL

my stepdad got one of these for Christmas, it's pretty legit and fun to play with.

Personally, for my day to day life I don't wear a watch, but as a pilot, when I fly I really need one, fuel timer, knowing Zulu time, and having a quick reference is a life saver. I've got my Dad's old Breitling which is beautiful. It's a titanium watch that's lighter than any rubber banded watch I've held and its clasp extends to where it always fits snug on your wrist, no shaking it up or down. Plus when I have to get dressed up for any reason it's kindda nice to be able to put it on and seem classy
