I've been thinking about getting a trampoline lately to practice on but I want to get peoples opinions on how much they have progressed on the water from practicing tricks using their wakeskate on a trampoline.
Does it help? If so, how? |

Gregeo, Using a skateboard deck is the way I tramp-skate.
To answer your question. Muscle memory. Most people don't get to ride everyday so if you can try new tricks in your spare time on the tramp...it helps. Oh yea, it's also super fun as well as a solid work out. |

Dude Get a Trampoline, best wakeskating cross-training exercise apparatus ever....
And yeah you can only practice shuvs and back bigs and any flip trick on the water so many times, the trampoline has helped me progress so much. You can probably find one used on craigslist for around $50, that where I found mine. Definitely a good investment if you plan on getting better and learning new tricks.
You can even rig a 4x4 beam across on side to simulate a rail to learn shuv-on-shuv-off tricks or whatever. There was an old article in Alliance about a 3 years ago, so in my opinion get one. |

likwidfolife, the 4 X 4 idea is awesome! For sure going to do that.....
I have been checking craigslist lately and found one for free if I pick it up and its located only 15 minutes from me. Now I just need the person to email me back one of these days. |
