the boars look similar at a glance and i know new produces remote's decks. i was wondering what the difference might be

The remote skates are significantly heavier, the news are much faster on the water in my opinion. Thats all i got Wink

the extra weight takes a little getting used to, but once i did i liked it even better than the new.

we have 5 remotes and 2 news and they ALL weight differnt....we have one remote thats 11.48 LBS and another thats 10.21LBS...and its like that for all of them....controlling wood weight is a tough thing....the wood may have a higher moisture content when your shaping or sealing the deck...so the lightness of one to the other could come from alot of things.....i also didnt see the fiberglass strip thats in the remotes in the new deck....thats added weight...both have the same shape....both are great decks....well designed...
