It's too bad Jessups changed their recipe and the stuff sucks now... I've been using the stuff for a LONG time and this new stuff is horrible. I have a roll in the garage I'm hesitant to use because I don't want to waste my time re-gripping a board and have the grip fall apart/rip the first time I use it Sad

Why would anyone put griptape on plastic?

Sprocket, do you play the harpsichord? I much prefer Bach, but let's be honest, a bad day in the Baroque period is still a bad day!

for some reason I think this is hilarious and I dont' even have an informed opinion on the baroque period. maybe that's why it seems so funny. Laughing

Well, since Sprocket got the joke, and changed the spelling, it really doesn't make sense anymore.

Sincerely,

Actually the new Jessups is different from years past, the backing paper is very thin and wears out very fast. I've been using Jessups for a long time also, I know what I'm talking about.
The grip on my previous "plastic" Integrity's is holding up great, but the stuff on my current board is crap. I hope you understand that I'm not knocking you, rather knocking a company who has had the best stuff in the business for many years and decided to change the formula, and now its sucks

I still thought it was hilarious, and I still don't understand if that's a reference from a movie or something. is it?
