Do the composite ones break as much as the wooden ones? I think I want to get back in to the bi-level game since I love the ride/heavier weight but every time I try one, it gets broken pretty quick.

Are there any other bi-levels out now that are reasonably durable (will get me through at least one season?) |

I want to try a bi-level but it's difficult to buy gear in the UK and even more difficult to test if you don't go to cable parks, which I don't.

So I'm wondering the same thing, getting temping to just order a Zariel, I'm just reluctant because if it does break it will take me weeks to get a replacement. |

SST- rides very close to the water,(the concave feel of the bi-level world), great weight, quality depends on the actual batch of boards, forgiving edges, rides great behind everything(boat ski winch) they do get beat up on the rails though, i broke all of my wood ones and the first composite i had lasted a good season(rails boat and ski) untill the bottom layer got nicked on a rail then the entire sheet pealed off

but the new ones should hold up a little better

Zariel- solid board, but rides high on the water (like a monster truck), snappy reaction times (sharp edges) but all in all seem to hold up well (saw a few guys at wakenation that removed the trucks from the zariel and just bolted the topdeck to the bottom deck-which looked like it made it feel closer to the water)

Byerly blend- also a tank(as in way it rides, and quality aka bombproof), but i only took a set on one

idk what your other thoughts are but thats my 2cents on those boards _________________ https://vimeo.com/moontowerco |

				| i like the sst its a solid shape and weight. the newer ones without wood last longer but they can still break. the zariel is a tank i rode the 42 i would definately get the 40. the byerly bi level was similar but i liked the concave and it spun under me really well. |

Thanks for the input everyone. I guess I'll look in to trying to get my hands on a zariel.

DaeDae, I ride mostly cable meaning lots o rails. Nobody's really going to warranty a board after it's seen a rail surface. |

try talking to someone at a shop, and seeing if they will take the pictures and try to warranty it for you. that would be the best bet. _________________ www.theliquidplayground.com
