I'm driving down to Marco Island Dec. 27th with my family and want to get out riding a bit. McCormicks is 3hrs away and Rixen is 2hr 20mins away.

I'm thinking I'm going to bite the bullet and drive up too mccormicks for 1 day and ride. 6 hours driving for 4hrs riding is a bit crazy but it might be my only chance too ride for another 3 months(haven't ridden since oct.)

My Q's are:

1. Is it worth the drive to Rixen? The obstacles don't look great and I've never heard much good said of that cable.

2. Is there any other places too ride besides Marco Island wakeboard school

3. Anyone within an hour or so drive that wants too share a pull? Beach winch? anything?

definently go to mccormicks, its worth the drive

Do yourself a favor and make sure you check McCormick's Facebook page before you make that 3 hour drive. Seems like they close down for maintenance every now and then.

make the extra 40 min drive to mccormicks dude, rixen is ok... there is one nice kicker, but thats about it for skaters... its way more wakeboard oriented.

ive never been to mccormicks, but from the vids ive seen it looks WAY better then rixen... i wish i could tell you it was better... but really its nothing special.

What about Revolution in Ft. Myers? It's like an hour away from Marco I think. I was there last year and it was a lot of fun.

Brett Leadley, I was about to suggest that, it's WAY closer than the other two. It's not a huge park and there's not a ton of stuff to hit, but what's there is fun.

Yea revolution isn't bad. there new incline is fun. and usually has nice water
