i thought everyone used flat bottom boats. but then i saw that they weren't as stable. one of my friends just found a good flat bottom boat and i dont know if I should just forget about a flat bottom boat and get a v hull.

hey man, im pretty sure the flat bottom jon boats/ tinnies are more stable as they have a wider surface under water. were as the V shaped small boats tend to rock around a bit, the v's probly hav a bit more of a fun wake and handle chop n stuff better. but yer if ur guna put a tower on a little boat then a flat bottom is better cause it wont pull the boat around as much.
hope that made sense haha |

There has been plenty of people making lemons crafts... many with towers, all seem to be flat bottom and i've not heard of anyone tipping one... search the forums, it would be here if someone had! |

That one should be perfectly fine. Call the dude and tell him you just want the boat and see if he will take some off the price. |

I mainly ride behind a flatbottom boat. If you're not used to driving one turns are hard though and every once in a while I'll drift turning around. But you should be fine |

Huh? Flat bottom boats have less surface area on the water than A v hull, hinge the term flat bottom, they are made for areas where v hulls can't get to because it's to shollow.......
Search for q modified v hull flat bottom boat if you want stability, Cajun specials, lake sports, etc |
