After clicking on the link, it looks like it's the other three models that are water resistant, and those also look to have some sort of sherpa lining. I'd pass on that for wakeskating. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

I ride in slip-ons. Love em. Might try those next or my chukka lows. It's nice to wear a shoe you can actually swim in. _________________ http://integrity-wake.com | http://jnonymous.com |

Exactly my thoughts! Why you want a water resistant shoe lol? You worried about getting em wet? I think it's more important to have a shoe that dries fast and drains the water easy. These having a water resistant outside might mean the water is a beach to drain out and get dry on the inside once fully submerged. |

| I don't find vans to be a very good shoe for wakeskating. That's just me though. The best shoe i've ever had were the Nike sb bruins. The lasted a year and had a really good feel. |

| Those WR Van's are the ones with sheep fur liner. the ones you have posted (the black and whites ones) are not water resistant. Sheep fur liner would be horrible in shoes for dancing on the water. |

| Although Vans core shoes were selling well, the wide range of products that the company now offered had drained the companies’ resources, and with Vans not able to overcome its debt they were forced to file. |
