My livingroom floor is at the 18' mark and the forecast is for floods to reach 20'. 2 feet of water in the house sucks! And it's a one story house so everything needs to get moved out before it hits.

ha! I read this and thought someone was FINALLY talking about the new season of 30 rock, or even the office. (the title of this thread was the title of the second episode of this new season of 30 rock.)

but good luck with whatever your'e going through. we just had some heavy rains in wisconsin so other people experienced a lot of flood damage.

The water got into my house only like an inch deep. Just enough that I had to move all my stuff out and take up the carpets. Pain in the ass, but it could have been alot worst. Small price to pay for living on the water.
