Check this sh*t out...in this video Walk Above Water - they Butterslide a wakeskate at 3:48 -- for like 8 seconds. That is not possible to do is it?

there is no way that it can be done behind anythin else but a kite i rekon. no to that extent anyway.
look were his feet are and the angle of the board, how could u dig in the tail that much wen its like 10 inches from the edge.
if i saw somebody do that i would loose my shizzle! ahha

deanbutt, you can do that behind anything, when my buddy does it his foot is way further back though.

I wakeskate behind a kite almost exclusively and I'm having a hard time believing this. Top foot is on it's edge as well and the lower foot is way off the tip. But I also don't imagine they would ruin a skate by putting a screw through it just to get that 5 second clip.
Honestly I'm just jealous because my butterslides don't look anything like that! Haha <tears>.

Not for me. That is a layback wheely style - like a turn - not a full-on, slicing butterslide like in the video
