Thanks to everyone here I was able to come up with a design of my own that worked for what I had. I obviously took bits and pieces of a lot of different winch designs and came up what I though was the best solution. If anyone wants help with anything I built or if you are thinking of building your own feel free to take any of the designs off my winch and find out how to make it cheaper, lighter and stronger. Building this thing was definitely a challenge and took way too many trips to Home Depot but you figure it all out as you go along. So here it is...

After the square tubing was cut and measured according to the wood frame, weld the pieces together and pray that it's straight because most likely they wont be perfect but thankfully they were almost perfect |

Line everything up to drill holes for all the bolts and also put the hitch mount in a receiver to mark the holes for the hitch pin. I used the drill bit that was meant for the size bolt you were going to use to eliminate any play |

I just used flat black paint for the frame. I also put motorcycle windscreen trim wrapped by 2 layers of electrical tape over the diamond plate for protection from sharp edges |

marking where I need to drill holes. I made this using a steel plate cutter that gives you perfectly straight cuts. I then used a drill press to make the holes |

mojo, the outer smaller diamond plate is the chain guard. I was thinking about a brake but found out the rope doesn't get pulled in that far once the rider falls and the winch driver kills the motor for me to bother with a brake. Just tried to keep it simple and cheap as possible.
Randomhero14, I would love to come to Dallas and shred but I'm in San Jose, CA not San Jose, TX so riding is going to be a little difficult haha but if you're ever in Northern California hit me up
