He had left central Washington early in the morning. He fell asleep at the wheel and drifted off the shoulder hitting the end of the section of guard rail.
The guard rail came through the right headlight, engine compartment, firewall, glove box, passenger seat, rear seat and exited out the driver’s side rear window. That is 120 LF of guard rail that threaded through the suburban. |

Thats gnarly..... that guard rail coming throug the fire wall is what saved that dude from rolling that thing at an obviously fast rate of speed.
Was first on-scene at a head on, a few weeks ago. 4 people in one car. BOth dudes in the fron lived but i had to cut them out. There wife's were in the back seat dead with out a mark on them..... Turns out, they were headed to the grand canyon. They made a right hand turn and in the midst of being 3 hours in the middle of nowhere switched to the lane that they are used to driving in.....
