dubstep is just starting to catch on in the US, but ive been listening to it for a couple years now. i recently recorded a 35 minute dubstep mixtape, so if anybody is a fan of dubstep, or is open-minded to new musical genres, then here is a link to my mix.
as a long time fan of progressive hard trance/house and Jungle/DnB, dubstep is right there with my tastes. I just recently found a demo CD recently that is just amazing. It's free to download on www.smogla.com. Apparently that's a rather large group of Dubstep artists... LOVE that CD though. The bass is just crunchy.
My computer's been acting retarded all night so I finally got the mix downloaded. I'll check it out tomorrow and report back. Initial thought = 128? really? You couldn't have recorded it a bit higher of a bitrate? _________________ Fake it till you make it.
Nice mix! There's two blends that are a little forced in the middle around 18/19 in but nice mix! Any sort of track list? I'm assuming you mixed it, not produced it. _________________ Fake it till you make it.
The song is actually kinda dope but the message of the video is just f***ed up. That's a seriously tragic story and to mock it... w r o n g. Even for my f***ed up mind. _________________ Fake it till you make it.
there are slight imperfections in all of my mixes. the reason for this is because i prefer to showcase my true skill. i could edit the mixes after i record them to make them perfect, but i think that is a false representation of my skill.
as for that chick in the wobblegirl video; she was faking her illness, they did a follow up interview with her a few weeks later and observed her walking out in the public perfectly fine and she claimed to have been healed
if you want some free & legal dubstep download links send me a PM and i'll send you 3-4 links
Dubstep has been around the US for over 5 years now.... Started in the UK, most famously brought on by Rusko, Caspa, and a few other undergrounds.
My fav is Datsik/Excision or Inspector Gadget. I swear dubstep is almost describable as Tribal Music because everyone gets so rowdy. shizzle bangs hard
