So I'm trekking all the way from Souf Africa & gonna be in Orlando from the 21st July, not keen to do the OWC thing agian since it's probably gonna be super busy (I think it's summer vacation over there)

I'll probably only get a day at the most to ride since I'm over there with family and doing the whole tourist thing.

Can any locals give me some advice?

(I was thinking about the projects System 2.0, but don't know what the details are i.e. Do you have to book, how busy is it etc.)

Lollar, I just know him, met him once or twice. I wouldn't just randomly go up to him and ask him for a ride. I don't wanna be a bother to anyone _________________ AKA Taco

You should go to OWC, it's not very busy on the weekdays, especially in the morning. If you've never ridden there. You should check it out. _________________ Juggling while wakeskating.

owc seems geared towards people just starting out and people that can rip on a wakeboard. if you get there early enough on a weekday, you might have some glass to ride for an hour or 2. i just get a bad vibe from that place, seems like they look at customers as dollar signs instead of people. i dont blame you for not wanting to go.

the 2.0 @ projects is unreal. guaranteed glassy water, decent pricing, and really good people. its impossible NOT to progress there. hands down the best cable to ride in orlando. just call 407.491.7312 the day before you want to ride and let them know when/how long you plan on riding.

however... since you have received an invitation to the knox residence, i highly recommend that you take marcus up on it and go shred lake down with him. you'll get better at wakeskating just by shaking his hand. |

The Kid, Marcus I'd love to ride with you, man. Thanks for all the feedback guys, I really love this website community and the comradery (spelt wrong) between all the members.

I really appriciate all the help and offers, if I find a gap to ride, i'll definately take you up on the offer, just let me know how much you want for gas money, (i dunno how the gallon system works so I wouldn't know how much to get)

The Kid, The Only other thing is that I won't have a board with me, would you be able to lend me one for a set if possible?

and of course if ever anyone from this site makes a mission to Cape Town South Africa, Hit me up and I'll organize a pull no problem. (My family owns a private lake)

And if you head to Jo'burg hit me up aswell and I'll call some contacts over there to hook you up.

Thanks guys!

BTW, I leave tonight, going on a cruise for a week first then I get to orlando _________________ AKA Taco

DaleFish, For sure man, I definitely have a board you can ride. I've got Arson, Integrity, Oak, and Sattelyte right now, the choice is yours. Don't worry about gas money, just arrive and that's enough! You're in Orlando till the 21st of July right? I can ride any day after the 1st of July, just let me know and I'll make it happen.

You guys are too nice |

thanks guys and thanks for the offer Marcus, unfortunately it was a bit hectic over there and only found time to ride at 6 o'clock one evening at OWC becuz my brother wanted to test his new ski. I also didn't have a laptop available to get online. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and help, please don't hesitate to give me a shout if any of you are heading to SA, I'll make sure to hook you up with a ride. _________________ AKA Taco
