kawi979, Most of them are not bothered by water. Any knee brace will work. I rock one!

I have much experience with knee braces unfortunately Laughing I use an Ossur CTI Custom. By far the best brace for watersports.

DonJoy is good but i have friends that use them and they seem to need a lot more maintenance than my CTI and aren't as "solid" feeling.

But some are so make sure you get one that isn't. And any knee brace will not work, my doctor convinced me of this and i ended up shizzle creek with a horrible brace for this sport and it took me tearing my knee up again before i got the brace i really needed.

i've had 2 knee surgery's on the left knee. i'm now rocking a CTI and love it! my brace before that was EBI, both braces are custom. the CTI is far better although the other i got 8 years ago.

the custom CTI i think was around 1200 - 1500 thank god for insurance!

i've been wearing mine in the water for 2 season's now with no problems. but that was something i also asked about when getting the CTI, when they handed me the brochure there was a wakeboarder on the cover wearing one.
