I have decided that I am going to purchase a GoPro but I am a little confused as to which one and what mounts to actually buy.
First of all which one should i buy..im mostly using it for wakeskating/snowboarding? Naked/Surf/Helmet? I am a little confused by the descriptions on the site.
Second of all, I don't want to spend gobs of money on extra mounts that I will probably never use..but i do for sure want a pole mount like i see in all the videos on youtube and stuff but I am not exactly sure which mount that is. Is that the Handlebar Mount?
http://www.goprocamera.com/index.php?area=2&productid=15
And would this be worth getting?
Grab Bag
http://www.goprocamera.com/index.php?area=2&productid=18
Also...can all of these mounts be used again..like the vertical J mount. That can be used over again right?
Just looking for someone with some GoPro experience.
Any advice or opinions. |

Thanks..and I appreciated your responses....I can definitely get creative and have no problem doing so. I am just confused I guess on the fact of it coming with the mount. So let me get this straight..if I buy the helmet hero or whatever..i can just mount it to...lets say a broom stick right out of the box correct? |

I just got mine yesterday and was wondering the same thing with the pole and what do people use to make it float? |

Since I didn't get a response on here I did some more research and it took me a while.
I ended up getting the Motorsports HD Hero because it was the best bang for buck mainly because it had the most adhesive mounts and the suction cup. Then I ordered the separate mounts that I wanted including the handlebar mount which mounts it to the poles like I was talking about.
Also an idea for making it float...if you have it attached to a pole you can put a noodle over the pole (most noodles are hollow to my knowledge) and glue it to it.
Just thought i would resolve my own question and clear things up. |
