Your wakeskating is really good. But its a shame you missed out on real Wakeskating. Your 360 flips are awesome, your bluntslides the best, and your poked out ollies are banging..... You look just like TNT, Reed (both of them) and who'm ever else you emulate. I'm glad you can all get along and agree upon a style that works for everyone. Why do things different when Looking just like Nick Taylor, has worked out so well for everyone else.

Board Company's; Thanks for keeping it real (and real expensive). For the record florida is now called Real. Why try and expand on the country or the world for that matter, when florida seems to be working out so well. God forbid we see what wakeskating looks like in other parts of the world. Let us not look at new materials or shapes, after all, you have put a solid 6yr's of R&D into it. Surfing/snowboarding/skating were all done in 6-10yrs aswell... Rolling Eyes

(why has no one looked at making boards out of Paulownia wood?) I also want to thank your for screwing the small percentage of people who actually wanted to buy boards from you. $300-400? Really? Keep justifying the prices by saying you poured your heart and sould into it..... Cause there is no doubt from where i stand, that you no longer have a soul.

Shame on us (the OG WS.COM'ers) for not keeping with the level of Descent that was prevealent for sooooooo many years. These forumns were the voice of the streets for along time. Now all I hear are the echo's of industry.

Wakeskating I loved you, we shared some great times. But you have lost your way. You look nothing like the girl i fell for so many years ago. I will be riding a bindingless board still, but I hesitate to call it wakeskating. If you change your mind and want the life we once had, You have my number.

everyone has to be so like almost political about everything. to each his own. wakeskating is just like everything else. as soon as it hits the streets everything changes.

but i will say this. wakeskating is still wakeskating....there is still mad soul in it. there is still mad love and soul in wakeskating. if no where else just look at some of the people on this site. tons of people with the passion to waterskate. look at how wakeskating is bringing people from all over the country to come here....to the little state of MD to wakeskate with me and raven. people from florida and people from wisconsin, people from jersey.

dont bash it because you dont like how everything has ended up. i still love to skate. i love to get together with my boys and have fun days on my river. thats life at its fullest. so enjoy it...

First of all, PIRATE, thank you for coming back and stating your opinion, we're always needing you.

I am not agreeing or disagreeing with you (even though you do have good points), but I think we have all come to the conclusion that there is only one style that is good in wakeskating, that style is skateboarding. Whoever can make wakeskating look like skateboarding is the cats a$$. I am not saying that is bad, but we need to be more of an open-minded group, accepting of different styles and ways. I think over time the branches of style will start growing but in order to do that, PEOPLE HAVE TO BE THEMSELVES.

even if every wakeskate company stopped producing boards and burned their inventory we could still easily make our own boards. ya they would suck at first, but eventually we would all figure it out. you just need a board, shoes, and a vessel of any type. anyone ever skate behind a solo?

my opinion on the matter is life is what you make it, and in this case wakeskating is what made up a large portion of your life, and all i feel you should be worried about is the way you are gonna handle your riding and leave everything else to settle itself, keep shredding the way you would like, and i dont feel you should give up something you once loved cause it got some wrinkles, and some stretch marks...its part of the beauty of life, and growth.

When I look at Surfing and Skating..... I think it's cool that there are guys who aren't the most progresive, but there still getting play. When they surf/skate its captivating because its gracefull. Do you think wakeskating will ever get there? IF anyone can it might be Grubb and Areed (imo).
