What would be the point of designing different skates? Reed has his and he is the only one on the team. If they get more riders I can see them doing different skates but I wouldnt hold my breath _________________ http://www.wakeskateclips.com/ |

just to expand their market i would think they woulda put out a concave deck already. they haven't even changed the zariel besides size since its inception. _________________ "I said take me to the sea, cause that is where I want to be. mojo, Ronix may not be as big as you believe they are... No every company has the fund to produce many different models. You have to remember, they Arent under big Bob's wing...this is all on them. _________________ 10101 |

I cant see them making any other kind of skate without a good rider to pump it up for sales. _________________ http://www.wakeskateclips.com/ |

Dido..that's just the type of company they are. I don't think they're going to produce anything "generic" when it comes to the wakeskate side of their products although i do agree that instead of producing the same shatty wakeboard in a girl and guys graphic, they could put those funds towards producing a concave deck. _________________ When it rains, it pours. |

mojo, You might understand how they are "doing it". But you havent seen their financial books or anything to the matter. I'm sure that if they felt they would profit off of making another skate, they would make it. Maybe they dont sell alot of skates as it is, so why expand if you arent making much profit off the skate you have? They are starting from the ground up, you have to set a foundation before you build. How many fresh companies do you see coming out right away with a vast product line. Simply put if they thought they would profit from having another skate, they would produce it. _________________ 10101 |

yookyle, That is a question a lot of businesses are asking themselves right now. If you are breaking even, or making a small profit. Do you ride it out and hope sales increase, or do you put up front money for R and D, new molds and the such for a new shape that may or may not sell better? I dont see Ronix just dropping skates. so I'm sure they are just sticking with the shape they have and are waiting to see what happens in the future. Who knows, maybe it is selling well enough that they arent interested in adding new shapes. _________________ 10101 |
